My friends at school put on a beautiful shower for the staff to enjoy before break. They really spoiled us! Thank you ladies, I am so lucky to work with you!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
We experienced our first Santa Parade in Holland last week. Just one of the many reasons we love where we live.

Meeting Wesley
This past weekend we headed to Chicago to visit our good friends Bain and Laura and meet their precious son Wesley Bain. We were able to spend time at the NICU loving on their little guy and catching up with each other. After 90+ days in the hospital Bain and Laura brought Wes home yesterday! We thank God for allowing Wes to be home with his mom and dad! So happy for you guys!!

Playing Catch Up
We have been keeping plenty busy these past few weeks resulting in a lack of blog posts...sorry! Here is a bit of what we have been up to.
Peyton dressed as a shark this year for Halloween.
Chad and Peyton assembled baby C's new ride

Chad began preparing his little girl's nursery
We celebrated birthdays 
We decorated for Christmas

p.s. We graduated from child birthing classes too!

Showered with Love
My mom and sisters threw Miss C (and me) a beautiful shower last weekend. It was so wonderful! They sure know how to put on a great party.
The house was packed with family and friends. We enjoyed a lovely lunch, followed by the traditional baby game "name that celebrity baby", gifts and desserts.
By the way.....Chad LOVED all the pink!
Thank you mom, Jen, Sarah and Kate....you sure know how to make a girl feel loved.
That evening we all headed downtown to get in the Christmas spirit.
and enjoyed dinner and drinks at City View
