Blogging has taken a back seat to life and I'm ok with that.  We've been having some wonderful family time lately and for that I am thankful.

We enjoyed every last second of summer and are gearing up for what fall will hold for our family.  A couple weeks ago a dear friend spend the morning taking pics of our extended family.  I just love them and each person in them.  It was a really special weekend.

We are getting so close to mom's stay on the east side and are dealing with all the emotions that come with that......

But, for now, we are soaking up each day together and are full of HOPE.

Luci loves animals so I was excited to take her to the Critter Barn so she could see them up close and hold them/swat them :)  My friend Jacki and I took our littles and we decided we have to go back.

This little one makes me smile and laugh all day long.  She's my little buddy and such a goof!  One thing's for sure....girlfriend keeps mama on her toes.  There is never a dull moment...she has "mastered" walking down the stairs facing forward, climbing onto her dresser to turn on the sound machine, carrying her pee to the potty.......

It's hard to believe she will be 18 months on Wednesday!  Wowza, that went really fast!

we have a match!

If you haven't already heard the news....my mom has a match!  I just want to shout it out!!!!  We are so thrilled and thankful.  It's hard to express all of the emotions that have taken place since she was diagnosed...I can't even begin to comprehend how my mom must feel.

I have been praying for this person and will continue to pray for her. ..she is an answer to our prayers.

Luci was never short on attention from her cousins.  They all love her so much and really helped me chase her around.  She called all of them by name and is still saying their names around home.

Emma was always near as Lu would shout her name all day long.  Sweet girls....

 

Icee popsicles were a huge hit while we played on the beach.  After Lu would finish hers she would make her rounds from cousin to cousin to scavenge some more.

"E" always had good snacks.  Love their matching suits :)

"Annie!"  Annie was a rockstar with Luci and gave her constant attention.

"Gey, Gey" warmed up to Lu as the weeks went on.  Little man has a big imagination and I just love that smile.
