more florida

I am so thankful that we were able to get away on our first family vacation. It felt so good to be warm again (Michigan winters can sure be long!). The best part about Florida was being with our Luci girl. As I think back to spring break last year we were doing daily injections in preparation for our first IVF cycle...we weren't sure what was in store for us. This year I seriously pinched myself the entire trip. We had our precious baby that we have been dreaming of! Can life get any better?!

It is so much fun to have all of the cousins together. They are full of spunk and keep us laughing. Luci is number 8 on the Lintemuth side, 4 boys and 4 girls and they just adore her. There was always a cousin (aunt, uncle and of course grandma and grandpa) loving on her...she is a lucky little girl and will have lots of playmates in the future.

Some other highlights of our vaca....

  • morning beach walks

  • perfecting skim boarding skills

  • smoothies by chad

  • pirate themed bday party for eli and liam

  • black eyed peas, u2 and bob marley by the pool

  • dolphin watching

  • sunsets

  • seagull feedings

  • good books

  • tigers vs. yankees pre season game

  • morning runs

  • nacho and margarita lunches

  • seafood

  • browsing through fun island shops

  • people watching

  • cannon ball competitions

  • late night hot tubs

  • naps...naps on the beach
